Service status and maintenance

Check account-visible health and distinguish status indicators from a public uptime commitment.

Status indicators

The WordPress Toolkit can show site health and recent job states. These are account- and site-level indicators, not a published global uptime commitment. A healthy indicator does not prove every plugin, DNS resolver, or external integration is functioning.

During an incident

Record the affected site, environment, start time, and error. Check the portal for current information and open a support ticket if needed. Avoid making repeated changes while a cause is unknown. Do not assume a private host-level status page or operational data feed is customer-facing.

Maintenance

Plan changes with a recovery strategy and notify affected users through your own appropriate channels. Wait for explicit confirmation before treating an operator-managed recovery or service action as complete.
