Deployment and change workflow

Prepare

Identify the site and target environment; review the planned code and configuration; and confirm that secrets are not committed. Where staging or development is available, validate there first. Environment availability is account-specific.

Apply and verify

Use only the deployment method authorized for your service. Git version control alone does not deploy a site. After a change, verify the expected public behavior and inspect the Toolkit’s recent-job information where relevant. Keep a record of what changed and when.

Roll back safely

Do not assume rollback is automatic. If data or files need recovery, contact support because recovery is operator-controlled. Avoid repeated deployments while an earlier operation remains unresolved.
