Your workflow belongs here

Build. Test.
Make it yours.

WordPress hosting should give you room to work. Keep your live site and your experiments in their own environments, and reach for the tools you already know.

Your WordPress tools. Your development workflow.

Illustrative workspace. Available tools and environments depend on your provisioned site.

01 / ENVIRONMENTS

A place for every stage.

Production, staging and development workspaces help you organize the live site, review changes and try your next idea.

02 / GIT + SSH

Bring your workflow.

Use site-scoped Git and SSH access to work with your code. Keep the tools you know close to your WordPress project.

03 / BROWSER SHELL

Your terminal, one tab away.

Open a browser shell for your provisioned workspace and use command-line tools, including WP-CLI, without switching away from the platform.

A platform, not a shared box

Built to remove the fragile parts of ordinary WordPress hosting.

Traditional hosting concentrates every failure mode in one machine. burnEngine separates the edge, application runtime, database, cache, and persistent data so each layer can be maintained and scaled with less disruption.

01

High-availability edge

Two gateway nodes keep traffic moving while Cloudflare handles global routing, caching, filtering, and TLS.

02

Dedicated workload pools

WordPress, MySQL, and Redis workloads scale independently instead of competing inside one overloaded server.

03

Managed WordPress lifecycle

A focused customer portal brings sites, updates, domains, backups, billing, and support into one place.

04

Elastic capacity

Independent workload pools let the platform add capacity as demand changes while keeping workloads separated.

05

Shared persistent data

Application nodes can be replaced and expanded without treating one machine as the permanent home of a site.

06

Human support

Manage billing and contact support through your burnEngine account, alongside your WordPress tools.

How the engine works

Every layer has a job.

Cloudflare runs the customer-facing control plane and protects incoming traffic. The burnEngine swarm remains the workload execution plane, with policy-based placement across purpose-built pools.

EDGE

Cloudflare control plane

DNS, certificates, security policy, caching, routing, customer portal, and orchestration APIs live close to every visitor.

GATE

Redundant ingress

Two gateway nodes manage the swarm and route origin traffic without depending on one permanent entry point.

POOLS

Independent compute tiers

WordPress, MySQL, and Redis nodes are scheduled by pool label and can expand independently as capacity changes.

DATA

Persistent shared storage

Site data remains available as application nodes are added, replaced, or rescheduled across the platform.

Operationally serious

Fast is useful. Resilient and recoverable is better.

Security and reliability are treated as platform responsibilities—not a list of plugins left for every customer to configure alone.

Cloudflare protected

Threats meet the edge before they meet WordPress.

Cloudflare provides the public security and routing layer while origin access can remain narrowly controlled.

  • Managed TLS and DNS
  • DDoS and bot mitigation foundations
  • Cache and request policy at the edge
  • Reduced direct origin exposure

Managed lifecycle

One place to operate your sites.

The burnEngine customer portal is being built around the WordPress tasks customers actually need.

  • Site and update visibility
  • Domain and DNS management
  • Backup and restore workflows
  • Integrated billing and support
